Privacy, plainly.
Nameplate stores the account, profile content, billing identifiers, form responses, and product events needed to provide the service. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Nameplate.
Analytics
Public-page analytics use salted pseudonymous visitor identifiers. Raw IP addresses are not persisted. Profile owners see aggregate visits, clicks, referrers, country codes, devices, and conversions.
Nameplate also runs a self-hosted Umami analytics script on nameplate.cc to measure its own product funnel. It records page paths, a small set of named product events, referrer, country, browser, and device without cookies or cross-site identifiers, and it is disabled on customer custom domains.
AI and files
Prompts and the minimum profile context needed for a request are sent through Vercel AI Gateway. Uploaded and generated assets are stored in Vercel Blob. Usage records support quotas, reliability, and abuse prevention.
Your choices
You may export your profile, subscribers, and form responses; change or remove public content; cancel billing in the Stripe portal; or request account deletion at privacy@nameplate.cc.
Service providers
Nameplate relies on Vercel, Neon, Stripe, self-hosted Umami analytics, and transactional email infrastructure. Data is processed where these providers operate under their respective security and privacy commitments.
